My Bio
Writing is my passion and profession. I love the stage, whether I'm teaching drama, at a concert or in a play. Exhausting workouts make me feel good. Good music and books make me feel safe.

An unrepentant carnivore; impossibly persnickety about my food and drink. My poison? Single malt Scotch - preferably accompanied by a good cigar.

Asocial, introverted, opportunistic, sarcastic. And because it's often said that your friends know you better than you know yourself, I leave you with a list of accolades that have been informally bestowed upon me:

The Bustasaur
The Instigator
The Nutcracker

Sigh

It's a Saturday morning & here I am, updating my dA journal instead of rushing to work. Saturdays like this have become a rare & precious commodity, since the captain of the corporate slave ship I work on has decreed that every slave is entitled to a maximum of two Saturdays off per month. I'm heading back to bed real soon, since I promised myself I'd sleep in today. After all, I hardly have that opportunity these days. But while I'm updating, I'll throw in something quite random & seemingly irrelevant: The Cure has made some of the most delightfully depressing music I've ever heard. Also, something else: happy 48th, Bono! &lt

Boredom

0 min read
I'm done with my Film Theory & Criticism exam - hardly studied, watched only two of the gazillion films I was supposed to watch & am running on approximately four hours of sleep & exactly one cup of espresso...& man, I feel great. O.k., not entirely, but that's not because of the lack of sleep or whatnot. The exam was pretty easy; one down, two to go. Anyhow, I'm in the school's Mac Lab now, bored half to death. So, I decided to do this. Enjoy & do it as well, if you wish. Rules 1. Answer the questions below. 2. Type each answer into the dA search box. 3. Take any one deviation from the first page of results for each

Good Day

0 min read
Yes, yesterday was a pretty darned good day. Despite a relatively stressful start ($15 cab fare, SPH writing test etc.), all else went well. The test turned out to be surprisingly easy, my group made considerable progress on our proposal & - despite even more stress due to some unprecedented changes - I managed to pull some last-minute magic out of my amazing ass for our campus radio show later today. Better yet, it seems today is off to a good start already - Roger Federer beat Tomas Berdych 6 - 4, 7 - 6, 6 - 3 at the Australian Open & hey, I got a new copywriting assignment, which, of course, means more money. Hehehe. Also, after
